Putting things where they belong: Updating content classes in master-child projects is quite a common task for RedDot developers. However, it can be very annoying to update many folders while continuously changing content classes, especially in the development phase of a project: Edit content class, click your way through the SmartTree to the folder node, select the folder, update it, scroll down again to administer content classes, choose folder and content class, start editing, …
Wouldn’t it be far more convenient to update content class folders inside the “Administer Content Classes” menu? So I created this little RedDot plug-in which takes the default RedDot function for sharing folders and attaches it to each folder inside the content class menu.
Latest version can be downloaded/forked at GitHub
Looks like a good plugin but the link (Plugin: “Update Connected Projects” (ZIP, 4KB)) is broken.
There was a little mess-up with the .htaccess rights, now it definetly works.

Hi Frederic
As Jamie already posted, I can only get a zipped xml (the plugin definition) not the asp script file. If you could check the download again that’d be very welcome. tnx in advance!
Hey reto,
there *IS* only the XML file. The asp comes from your RedDot installation itself, it’s the default “Update Connected Projects” dialog. This plugin just attaches that dialog to the content class menu, too.
