A RedDot Community – This is where it’s at! & What do you want?

Today we have a couple of different sources for support and several places to exchange ideas and knowledge or seek a helping hand. These are all separated. I am thinking about a place where everything can be found at once.

4th European RedDot Usergroup Conference Review – Part 1

Paul and I attended the 4th European RedDot Usergroup Conference on Tuesday May 19th 2009, held at the National Archives, London. This was my first time at a RedDot Usergroup conference – so my aim was to get a feel for the RedDot Usergroup, learn a few things and contribute where I could. The RedDot Usergroup is a non-profit organisation, so the conference was no free lunch. Which means evaluating the value for money for the conference and also whether to join up for an annual membership.

20th RedDot Usergroup conference in Düsseldorf

Yet again, the user group conference in Düsseldorf was quite a success with lots of interesting lectures: A 10 year old Intranet project in RedDot (up and running!), Product Information Management systems, news about Open Text support, Digital Asset Management with Artesia and a peek on the new Open Text Web Solution Management Server release 10.

Australian OpenText Web Solutions User Day Brisbane 2009 – Part 1

On Monday 25th May Morgan Ritchings attended the Brisbane RedDot or should that be OpenText Web Solutions User Group meeting. There was a good mix of partners, customers, freelancers.

Melbourne – Open Text Web Solutions User Group Meeting June 2009

The Areeba gang of RedDot CMS developers (Markus Giesen and his fellow nerd Kim Dezen) will be there. Are you a australian based RedDot Partner / developer / freelancer? Or an australian based Open Text partner? Will you be there? I am looking forward to catch up with you!

RedDot Usergroup Conference / RedDot Days 2008 in Frankfurt (Main), Germany

The third RedDot Usergroup conference of the year is traditionally on the day before RedDot Days. Topics (so far) cover best practice of RedDot/Livelink DM integration, complex websites without Navigation Manager and a Q&A talk with the Director Technical Support of RedDot.
